Courtney Wants My Chem

Courtney Love wants My Chemical Romance to play her daughter’s (Frances Bean’s) Sweet 16 party.

According to a post on Love’s MySpace page, she has reached out to frontman Gerard Way to play Frances Bean’s 16th birthday party, and he has responded with a note. Love goes on to thank Way, writing, “You’ve really made my kid happy with your politeness and sweetness and I shant forget it ever.”

No official word, though, if Gerard agreed to do the gig.

Courtney goes on to say that she wants pyrotechnics for the party. Frances Bean, daughter of the late Kurt Cobain, turns 16 on August 18th.

Now, if we know Courtney as well as we think we do, Frances will most likely be crying in a corner, sobbing to the sweet, sweet sounds of Ashley Simpson on her iPhone. Not to be mean or anything, but it’s hard to imagine that Courtney has any clue about what her daughter likes. That takes some attention-paying-skills and this broad can’t even keep track of her dead husband’s ashes.

More Wild Antics...
What’s going on with this batty chick, anyways? The singer was photographed this week in Los Angeles being wheeled around in a grocery cart. Then she was snapped in the water at the beach with a cast on her ankle, wearing what appears to be lingerie and carrying a guitar.

In a post on her MySpace page, Love explains her injury as “shopping toe”, apparently meaning she stubbed her toe while shopping. Get it? She then proceeds to go on a lengthy rant about Perez Hilton, who posted the gorgeous pictures of her on his awesome site. Click that last link for photos of Courtney with annoying little drawings on them. Isn't Perez witty?
