Filter Want You To Speak Up

 Freedom of speech is an important part of being American.
So is porn and beef, but I digress.
The band Filter is all about starting a discussion about right and wrong, and they have done just that with the music video for their single “Soldiers of Misfortune”.
In the video an American flag is shown getting covered with oil.
Frontman Richard Patrick told MTV News all about it:
“You know, on our message board there is this conversation about the Filter video, like, ‘Wow I don’t necessarily agree with them, you know, putting a flag in oil and just having the oil just engulf the flag like that, I don’t know if that’s right.’ And it’s just like, good, I’ve started a conversation.”
