Metallica Have A Release Day

We’ve learned just about everything there is to know concerning Metallica’s upcoming album, Death Magnetic. That is, everything except the date you can get your hands on it.

Well, the answer to that question has finally been answered. The band will release the record on Friday, September 12th. Albums normally come out on Tuesdays, but this is the second Friday release for Metallica; they gave fans St. Anger on a Friday as well. And you know how that turned out...

Metallica Shot a Short
Metallica was pretty busy last week. The guys were in the outskirts of Los Angeles working on a short film for the first featured track on their upcoming album, Death Magnetic.

The song is called “The Day That Never Comes” and the video was shot by Thomas Vinterberg, who directed the movie The Celebration.

Metallica.com has some photos from the shoot.
