The New Metallica Site Is Live

To help promote Metallica’s upcoming record, the band set up a new Web site that promises fans a chance to experience the new album before it’s done.

Check the site out now at MissionMetallica.com where there is a splash page and an option to submit your email address. If you can follow directions you'll be set up in no time.

Metallica’s follow-up to 2003’s St. Anger is due out in September. No title has been released yet but the band is currently recording the disc with producer Rick Rubin.
