Noel Gallagher Loves Jay-Z

In the past few months, Noel Gallagher of Oasis and rapper Jay-Z have been tied together on several occasions. That’s because of a slew of comments the rocker and rapper exchanged about Jay headlining the Glastonbury Festival.

In the past, the comments were negative on Noel’s end, but now the singer has changed his tune (most likely because he doesn't want a beating from an ex-coke dealer). He told The Guardian, “For the record, I like Jay-Z. That's my opinion.” There are even rumors that the pair will be teaming up for Oasis’ new album. Jay spoke to MTV News about that, “I haven't spoken to him, I heard he was reaching out, but I haven't spoken to him…I don't bear any grudge, it's all good.”

Noel Will Give You Nothing
Don’t expect to get the new Oasis disc Dig Out Your Soul for free. Noel Gallagher told the BBC, "I didn't spend a year in the most expensive studio in England, with the most expensive producer in America and the most expensive graphic designer in London to then give it away. F**k that."

The 41-year-old continued by sharing his opinion about a rather famous band who released their most recent album, In Rainbows, on a pay-what-you-like basis. Here’s what Noel said about Radiohead: "To be honest, to me it looked like marketing – a great way of getting a load of marketing for free really. But good for them. That's what they do, they're rebels and outsiders."

He sure has a way with words.
