Last week we reported that Rage Against The Machine will be playing a show in Denver during the Democratic National Convention. And, according to NME.com, Rage planned a “stunt” during the Republican National Convention, which takes place from September 1st to the 4th in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The producer of this year’s Reading and Leeds Festival told the publication that Rage requested to play this past Friday so they would have time to perform during the DNC as well as to go and picket the RNC.
The concert organizer added, “There’s a stunt they’re going to pull off that will no doubt hit CNN during the course of the week.”

The authorities shut down the band's plans for an impromptu concert, so Zack and Tom just shouted their political views at a crowd of meatheads who couldn't have cared any less about the Republicans and just wanted to hear Rage play.
Unless... this wasn't the "stunt" after all.
Speculate.

That said, it?s been a long time since I?ve actually listened to any early-era Radiohead, but I recently discovered this fantastic live recording of Scala & Kolacny Brothers doing a beautifully sullen piano and voice rendition of Radiohead?s ubiquitous 1993 single. The cluster of sixty something Belgian women focus primarily on minimalist...
