Coldplay revealed details of their "Viva La Vita" North American Tour, with shows spread across the US and Canada between June and November. They will make a stop at The Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ on October 26th as part of the North American tour. Tickets go on sale Saturday June 14 at 10am.
You can check the band’s website for details and the full list of shows - www.coldplay.com As previously announced, Coldplay will be playing a couple of free shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden and London's Brixton Academy. The concert on this side of the pond will take place on June 23rd, just about a week after they release their fourth album, “Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends”.
There are no tickets for sale for this show... They are only available via a contest at Coldplay.com

There has been discussion in the UK recently about the decision to have Jay-Z headline the annual Glastonbury festival, a traditionally rock oriented event. One man that’s in favor of H-to-the-izzo performing is Coldplay singer Chris Martin.
He asked BBC host Jo Whiley, “Why would we need to play Glastonbury, considering the best musician on the planet is headlining?” He added, “I find it pretty embarrassing, all the palaver [over Jay-Z's booking]. We recently came back to England to find all this hoo-hah, grandpas complaining about things they don’t know about. Coldplay not playing and Jay-Z playing is exactly what needs to happen for the world. He’s the best rapper in the world.”
Martin and his wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, are friends of Jay-Z and his new wife, Beyonce.
