Weezer are currently out on a US tour, but if you haven't had the chance to see them yet, you should head over to the band's Web site. The band is posting updates about each show on Weezer.com, and it seems that these days the guys are full of praise.
A recent post about a show in Philadelphia states, "From the earliest days when the fans would lie down around the tour bus, their bodies spelling out "WEEZER"...Philly (as Spinal Tap put it best) is a real rock n roll town."
It looks like Rivers Cuomo is looking to personalize his drum kit. He is asking fans, via Weezer.com, to send in stickers to decorate the kit. Information on how to do so can be found on the site, but it's as simple as throwing stickers in an envelope and mailing them straight to the band!
Rivers asked fans years ago to send stickers to add some flavor to his guitar.

Big news for Weezer fans. The band says that they will begin writing and recording a new album in early November!
Drummer Pat Wilson told Billboard.com that the group will be working with producer Jacknife Lee, who just finished albums with Snow Patrol and Bloc Party. He also revealed that all members of Weezer will be writing the record as well as singing lead vocals and switching instruments.
