Internships
WXRK (92.3 K-Rock) is looking for interns for the Summer 2008 semester.
Requirements :
Must be at least 18 years of age. / Must be enrolled in a college or university program for the specific purpose of gaining a degree, and receiving college credit for the internship. / Must be able to commute to the K-Rock offices at specified times. / Must have a basic understanding of K-Rock programming.
Responsibilities : Assist Promotions Director and Promotions coordinator with day-to-day operations of the promotions department (scheduling of events and on-air contests, on-air liners etc.). / Assist in coordinating promotional contests and distribution of prizes (on-air and web giveaways). / Assist in marketing, promotions and programming events. (Bar parties, sponsored sales events, concerts, live broadcasts, etc.). / Assist in office management (faxing, photocopying, etc.).
